Walkthrough
You finish four levels by restoring machinery, escaping dinosaur chases, rescuing DJ, and reaching the Crew Lift. Use the Terrible Lizards walkthrough when you need the next objective or a door-code solution.
- Level 1: Repair the theater, replace the finale button, and start the show to open the meteor passage. Escape Benji, reach Dalton’s office, and use 1903 for the basement fuses. Install three fuses, connect the floodlights from the rafters, activate the lights, and follow the escape route underground.
- Level 2: Start both generators before entering 0451 at the Foreman’s Tower. Repair the damaged keypad, then use the code displayed in your field laboratory. Shut off the electrical hazard, use elevator code 1677, and recover the gondola spare key. Open the Dynamite Locker with 0180, place four charges, and operate the blast plunger.
- Level 3: Use yellow goo for height and adhesive walls for longer crossings. Restore the train machinery and collect four fuses in the rail cavern. Get the Shed Key above the tracks to reach the fuse inside the locked shed. Finish the central panel, operate its control, and continue toward the Motherlode.
- Level 4: Use the counterweight to position the goo, then find DJ and retrieve his Allosaurus tooth. Test three old guns until you find the working one during the Dennis encounter. Restore the camp’s special-spectrum lights, collect dynamite in Cavern A, and blast open Cavern B. Recover the Crew Lift Key, return to DJ, and catch the rising lift during the final two-minute escape.
If you want the extra credits scene, check the secret ending Stuffed Animal requirements before leaving each level. You can revisit levels through the main menu’s Level Select.
Game Length
The main story takes about 5.5 hours, and retries change your own finish time. See the full Terrible Lizards game length numbers, including collectible runs.
Story
You play Jordan, whose broken-down car leads him into Dalton’s Dinos while employees and Dalton’s son DJ are missing. Stella guides you by phone as the search takes you beneath the attraction into an older military excavation. Dalton has been mining strange goo for mysterious buyers who threaten his family. Read the full Terrible Lizards game story to see how the family, the underground research, and the rescue connect.
Ending
You get one main-story ending: Jordan rescues DJ and escapes the underground complex through the Crew Lift. Dennis interrupts the ascent, and Jordan catches the lift before kicking him off. His fall does not confirm his death. At the surface, DJ recognizes Auntie Stella’s car, Jordan shouts for him to get away, and the scene cuts off. See the Terrible Lizards game ending page for that final exchange.
Secret Ending
You unlock an extra credits scene by placing one Stuffed Animal on its pedestal in each of the four levels. This does not replace Jordan and DJ’s main ending. Currently, dying while carrying a toy loses it; placing it on the pedestal registers that delivery. Amber Samples unlock new game + modifiers instead. The Terrible Lizards secret ending page shows where to find all four toys and their pedestals.
Bosses
You face Brontosaurus across Levels 1–2, Allosaurus in Level 3, and Dennis in Level 4. Benji also pursues you during Level 1, before the larger dinosaur encounters. The Terrible Lizards bosses page covers each escape in this order.
- Brontosaurus: Complete the Gift Shop floodlight objective, then escape; later, place dynamite and use the blast plunger. Stella says the lights drive it back, but switching them on enrages it, so keep moving.
- Allosaurus: Facing it can briefly interrupt its approach, giving you time to reach a narrow passage. Keep moving once it pauses, and use the goo routes while completing the machinery and fuse objectives.
- Dennis: Retrieve the tooth, complete the working-gun encounter, and restore special-spectrum lights at the camp. During the final ascent, use bounce surfaces and climbing routes to catch the lift within two minutes.
Dennis
Dennis is DJ’s dinosaur “friend” and the final Dilophosaurus Hybrid pursuing you through Level 4. He takes DJ’s Allosaurus tooth into his lair and attacks again during the lift escape. Read more about Dennis in Terrible Lizards, including the gun encounter, the protective lights, and the timed climb. The identity of the human face inside his mouth remains unresolved.
Characters
You play Jordan, follow Stella’s phone instructions, and search for Dalton and his missing son DJ. See all the Terrible Lizards characters and voice cast.

|---|---|---|
| Jordan | Playable visitor stranded at Dalton’s Dinos | Kellen Goff |

Stella
Stella Banks guides you by phone while returning to the attraction, first directing the Dalton search and later DJ’s rescue. The final car scene leaves her role unresolved, and nothing proves she caused the disappearances. Read more about Stella in Terrible Lizards, including the questions her car raises at the ending.
Dinosaurs
You are primarily hunted by Brontosaurus, Allosaurus, and the Dilophosaurus Hybrid Dennis. The attraction’s five Paleo Pals are Benji, Alistair, Stephanie, Dennis, and Pterry. A Stegosaurus exhibit also appears; the main pursuers are not a complete exhibit inventory. The Terrible Lizards game dinosaurs page separates the hostile creatures from the mascots.
